No longer Number 1
I watched MOTD this morning which is now my usual routine. Can't be bothered with football on a Saturday anymore. Three games in there was a perfect example of why football is no longer my favourite sport after 44 years at the Number 1 spot. Mark Nobel who is a fine example of a club player. 1 club man who tries his heart out. He has had to blatantly cheat to get his club back into the game against a rampant AFC Bournemouth. The same club who were twice victims of dubious deci sions at Anfield on Monday. No foul on him but goes down in the first minute of the second half to earn then take the penalty to put his club back in the game. Fortunately the deserving team did win this time. But this is not a dig at Mark Nobel , THEY ALL DO IT NOW .. at all clubs at all levels. I have seen 9 year old boys dive in the under 10's league and have parents more or less applaud it.
