You can hire cars for less, but the Mustang brings out our inner line dancer. And for a couple of weeks that’s not such a bad thing. Because of the films and the fond memories we have of rumbling through Monterey with The Boys of Summer on the CD player, we like the Mustang. AS AN ELIGABLE BATCHELOR ....  I AM LYING LOW TODAY     Ireland's folklore is full of wonderful, funny, strange, but sometimes out-dated traditions and in this year of 366 days, we are greeted with one of the most well-known.    Yes, it is a leap year, and although you may have thought it was a myth, according to the old Irish tradition, this is the perfect chance for a woman to take matters into her own hands and get down on one knee on February 29.    Looking back through ancient Irish history, it is said that the tradition began in 5th century Ireland when St. Brigid of Kildare bitterly complained to St. Patrick that women had to wait far too long for men to propose. The legend says that St. Patrick decreed the women could propose on this one day in February during the leap year. I'm sure the women were thrilled. The tradition was then taken to Scotland by Irish monks. Back in 1288, the Scots passed ...

WHO WILL BE THE NEW JAMES BOND ??? Daniel Craig has signed up for a US TV series, throwing his future as James Bond into doubt. He will star in Purity, which is set to run for several series of 20 episodes each. Speaking last year, the 47-year-old actor said he would “rather slash my wrists” than play 007 again after starring in hit movie Spectre, which made £600million at the box office. It may once again be time for yet another new James Bond.  Especially after Craig's recent comments regarding a possible successor.   When asked who he would like to be the next James Bond,  He replied: “Look, I don’t give a fuck. Good luck to them.” Daniel has played the Brit spy for a decade, starring in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.
